Marina Day Bash was a Blast!

Thanks to all the Tenants and Sponsors who supported the 2010 Marina Day Festivities.

We had the BBQ going and the battle for the booty was a rough one. Multiple crews joined in on Booty Bingo and Marina Trivia. Those who earned the most doubloons were able to bid on the prizes at the end of the day. We had great prize list that included: $25 Red Robin Gift Card, $25 Olive Garden Gift Card, $25 Cabelas Card, $25 Barnes & Nobles Card, Folding Deck Chair, Solar Flashlight, Sailing T-shirts, Swiss Army Knife, Toy Story Fishing Pole, Bubble Wands, Wine Glasses, Photo Album, Parallel Ruler, Storm Proof Lighter, Jolly Roger Flag, and a headlamp.

Our very own professional comedian, Morgan Preston, entertained the motley crew with his humor and wit. The crowd was very impressed with his performance. We hope that Morgan will want to participate in another event in the future.

Citizens for a Healthy Bay also brought their new boat up to D-dock for all to view. In addition, they offered spill kits for the boaters on hand.

Marina Day's Buccaneer Bash - June 12th

Arrggh! YOU SCURVY DOGS! Are ya ready for some celebrating? We're ready to blow these blasted clouds back out to the ocean where they belong. Will you come help us?

Put on your best Seafarer's finery and make your presence known at our Marina Day Buccaneer's Bash. That's right mateys, not only do you get to wear your pirate costumes, but you can also sing a chanty or two if you feel like it. We'll have hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, salads, desserts and drinks. Feel free to bring any morsel you feel like sharing with the rest of motley crew.

We'll begin the festivities at 11am on Saturday the 12th. If we can yank the sun out that day, we'll be on the hoist deck. If the rain dares to fall, we'll beya takin' over Mr. Quinn's showroom.

There'll be music, trivia, prizes and a comedian for your entertainment pleasure. In addition, the Citizens for a Healthy Bay will have their new vessel on D-dock for your inspection.
