We are thinking of having a wine tasting with our first barbecue this year? Any thoughts; yea or nay?
So what do you think of the new "Curb your Dog" signs? funny? S-18 effective? stupid? Dogs can't read? Tell me what you think.

Thanks for setting up the blog. I can see that the energy level is a little low here just now but these things take time. Wait until Spring when more folks begin working on their boats and start socializing more. Then the blog can be an adjunct to the one of the things we enjoy about hanging out a the docks; the people.
A suggestion.
I have considered whether it would be feasible to maintain a list of guest slips online so that cruisers could browse for open slips within a given area and find and register for overnight moorage online. There are a few sights online that allow boaters to view moorage for rent or purchase, but I wonder if a site dedicated to guest moorage would be useful.
Although it would be convenient for those trying to book a short stay, we don't have any way to keep a list like that updated since there is no dedicated space for guesting boaters.
Still a good thought; keep the ideas coming :)
